Láki TOURS - Whale watching

Láki Tours, offers a unique whale watching tour from Snæfellsnes on Láki II from 15th November to 15th September. Nowhere else in Iceland is there a better chance to see two of the ocean’s top predators, sperm whales and orcas, than along the Snæfellsnes Peninsula coastline. The orcas are more often seen in winter and early in the summer, during April and June, but there is a chance of seeing them all the way through the summer months. Male sperm whales can be seen especially in June in deeper water. We also regularly see Minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, and harbour porpoises. On some rare occasions we have the privilege of watching pilot whales migrating past the peninsula in large aggregations. The landscape is magnificent around the glacier Snæfellsjökull, and even more so from sea.
